Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: Sacramento Bee. It's so nice to have "non-government cheese" Ron Artest back with the crazy talk.
PF: Garbage Time All-Stars. This comic sums up exactly how I feel about the trade deadline.
SF: New York Times. Movie producer Baron Davis says he's watched "City of God" well over 150 times. (!)
SG: Wages of Wins. Carl Landry, NBA fans. NBA fans, Carl Landry.
PG: Basketbawful. The mighty worst of the weekend, including a funny Yahoo! boxscore snafu.
6th: Pyle of List. Two NBA entries in this most embarrassing sports wives collection.
7th: Hornets247. A sweet David West wallpaper for your five-inch computer monitor.
8th: Sneaker Files. Lots and lots of pictures from the Original Jordan Showcase in Toronto.
9th: MySA.com. Tony Parker says he's so over the ankle inflammation. (They had a nasty break-up last week.)
10th: FireGeorgeKarl.com. Pretty self explanatory.

Skeets, thanks a million for the link to Garbage Time All-Stars. I had no idea there was an NBA webcomic out there. And this cat actually seems pretty funny!

[With Mr. Davis acting as ambassador, the film started shooting last year, and developed a buzz for its unflinching interviews with real gang members and survivors.
“As horrible as their situation is, they want their story told,” said Mr. Peralta, 51. “I’d rather be around them than any Hollywood executive ever, because they don’t lie.”] excerpt from Baron Davis as filmmaker story
Good Point Mr. Peralta!!!!!! It's a fact that gang members never, ever lie. They have always been respected for their honesty, just ask any policeman, prison guard, judge or crime victim. That is some very smart thinking, preferring the company of south-central Los Angeles gang members to executives. You sir, truly are mentally retarded to the point where it is an absolute miracle that you made it to 51.
