A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

With Oklahoma getting a team and Seattle getting one back in the near future. When Seattle gets their team back, another city would need to get one to even the numbers at 32. I took the liberty of naming Oklahoma Tornados, and giving a team back to Vancouver Wildcats. With 32 teams in the league now, I took the liberty to redo the divisions and also moving one team to the East. Here is my take of how the new NBA should look. Let me know what you think.
Eastern - Atlantic: Boston Celtics, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers Central: Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards Lakeside: Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors Southeast: Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic
Western - Mountain: Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma Tornados, Utah Jazz Northwest: Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Seattle SuperSonics, Vancouver Wildcats Pacific: Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns Southwest: Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets, San Antonio Spurs
