Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: SLAM Online. Live from a Los Angeles bus stop, it's Stephon Marbury! Follow the link for the story.
PF: TKB. Thanks to Nate Rob, the Knicks are second only to the Hawks in NBA slam-dunk championships.
SF: Baller-in-Chief, via Jones. Past and present NBA greats critique President Obama's on-court skillz.
SG: Mouthpiece Blog. LeBron James has a few more Dunk Contest proclamations. Hurry up, next year!
PG: FirstCuts. How young, rising NBA teams are like television shows.
6th: TODC. Trev Smith wonders why everyone is talking about KD becoming a star when he already is.
7th: The Wizznutzz. Ice Cube, Shaq, Michael Jackson and the "We Be Ballin' (street remix)" ...
8th: The 700 Level. Harlem Globetrotters to play a game on the roof of the Wachovia Spectrum.
9th: Talking Point Free Points. A sharp take on last week's New York Times' Shane Battier profile.
10th: BDL reader Kevin has a trade suggestion: "Sixers deal Andre Miller back to the Clippers for Baron Davis. Sixers get a higher ceiling; Sterling gets off the hook for a miserably played '08 free agency and one of the league's least desirable contracts." Thoughts?

Not sure about that, Ak... but anyway.
    That was bizarre, yet funny.
"You just waiting for the bus"
    "I'm just chillin' "
    Indeed, Starbury. Indeed.

Magic Johnson equating Obama's bball to how Obama is running the country was cheese. Come on Magic. Come on. One or two remarks? Ok. But every time Magic said anything, it was about how Obama's game relates to him running the country. The way Obama grips the ball? That's a good grip. That's the way he's running the country. The way Obama gets a rebound? That's a good rebound. That's the way he's running the country. Sweet lord.

I read the Batteir Time piece and I disagree a lot with the blogger comments with the exception of the possible paternally racist implications that were in the article.
