Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: 48 Minutes of Hell. Manu's ankle highlights how underwhelming an off-season this has been for San Antonio.
PF: NBA.com, via TPIM. Pat Riley: "I think Dwyane Wade is the greatest player in the world."
SF: Waiting .... A few players for Danny Ferry to target over the next few months given all of his expiring deals.
SG: Detroit Bad Boys. Video of Ultramagnetic MC's ten-minute 1989 All-Star introductions rap.
PG: YAYsports! This picture of John McCain's new VP Sarah Palin made me spit out my coffee.
6th: East Valley Tribune. Is Phoenix good enough that it can sit Nash for 12 games? Nash: "Probably not."
7th: FanHouse. Carmelo Anthony likes both Democrats and Republicans. Find out why.
8th: Totally Looks Like. Minus the glasses and lightning bolt scar, Ricky Rubio totally looks like Harry Potter.
9th: Bullets Forever. 96 minutes, seven guys, all PFs or centers. How would you allocate the Wizards minutes?
10th: Talking Points. Tim Kawakami wonders how Monta Ellis' injury affects Don Nelson's tenure.

OK, that's all Angela Lansbury blogged. Labor/Labour Day weekend is upon us, so let's kick back and enjoy the end of summer. If your festivities are going to include alcohol, please don't drink and drive. Be safe, have fun, and we'll see you back here Tuesday.

Wade, Marion, Beasley - Better than Allen, Pierce, Garnett.
    Chalmers - Better than Rondo
Haslem - as good as perkins

If any trades should be done, it should be Marion for good young center and miami is in for years to come!

That would be a really great trade if celtics can afford salary

It's a blessing of disguise that Manu got injured. He should have an injury right now than in the playoffs. He will be back and expect the Spurs to win their five championship.

Did Rob just put Marion in 3 positions and called that "depth"?

Rob's right, if the Heat had 3 Shawn Marion's and 2 Michael Beasley's, they would probably have some depth.
