Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: The 700 Level. The Sixers will be the first NBA team to use "military-grade technology" in their sneakers.
PF: RedsArmy.com. Does Stephon Marbury(notes) have a beef with Paul Pierce(notes)? Does anybody care?
SF: SRI. Dikembe Mutombo(notes) says after last season's awful playoff injury he just wants to be able to walk.
SG: The Association. The Lakers front office "dropped the ball" in the return to the Forum.
PG: Wages Of Wins Journal. Heavy question: Is this the beginning of the "Tragedy of Chris Paul(notes)?"
6th: Magic Basketblog. Simple question: Is Marcin Gortat(notes) one of the league's best centers?
7th: FanHouse. Chris Andersen(notes) says he won't shave his beard until his wedding in June 2010.
8th: CelticsHub. Breaking down the C's heavy use of a double high post set in the pre-season.
9th: Spurs.com, via TH. Gregg Popovich has inspired winemakers, and now vegetable growers.
10th: Dime. Who do you think is the best backup point guard in the NBA? Iverson? Barea? Jack?

Bruce Bowen would have loved those shoes if you know what I mean. "Wally, how my shoe taste?!"

Skeets! You're joking by adding Jack to the list of potential best backup PGs, right?!
Those are sweet shoes. And I'm really worried about CP3 with that cast around him -- they did NOT do enough to make that team a contender or reduce some of Paul's heavy lifting. It's all on him, still, with David West and Okafor to provide the support. Beyond that, good luck.
Speaking of shoes, and CP3, I have a new pair of Paul's Air Jordans, signature series, and they continue to blister my outside toes. WTF.
