Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: WIZZNUTZZ. With Rod Strickland becoming Director of Student-Athlete Development at Memphis, WIZZNUTZZ is diagramming just how this will affect the student body's sausage intake. You see, Rod enjoys encased meats. Sometimes during the first quarter of a pro basketball game.
PF: AZCentral.com. Shawn Marion had only three shots in last night's loss to the Timberwolves, partially because Al Jefferson couldn't guard a cloth cap at this point, so big Amare got all the looks. Mike D'Antoni? "It's energy. The ball finds energy." It makes sense that Marion has to work hard to get himself open and available for passes, but three shots? It's also my duty to remind you that the Suns are tied for the top seed in the Western Conference right now.
SF: Philadelphia Magazine. An engaging look at the madness that is Larry Brown.
SG: 100% Injury Rate. If you're besotted with nostalgia (check) and obsess over ancient video games (two for two), then this is your link of the day: a look back at NBA video games of yore.
PG: Sports Illustrated. NBA players would rather play for Phil Jackson, and Mike D'Antoni, above all. Well, they tied, but still. The secret weapon? The mustache.
6th: Washington Post. Lamenting the loss of NBA nicknames. A great read if just for the chance to put this song in your head all day.
7th: SI.com. Jack McCallum knows what he's talking about, and today he's talking about all 30 NBA teams.
8th: Yahoo! Sports. Kobe Bryant, gritting his teeth, telling you that everything's A-OK.
9th: The Blowtorch. Awesome, random, and completely true fact about Antoine Wright.
10th:
The Sporting News. Leaking the NBA All-Star unis.

Nice link to the All-Star unis. They're terrible. It looks like the words got stuck in a barbed wire fence.

Since you're one of the few grammar-conscious bloggers, I'm gonna pretend to see "affect".

Kelly Dryer.. you're horrible. I've never liked anything you type up. Yahoo needs to find a more intelligent Sport's writer.
