Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: Randball. Dear Western Conf. coaches, here's your free Al Jefferson-themed GPS device. Now vote.
PF: Blazer's Edge. Ben gets as up close and personal with LeBron James as possible.
SF: Mothering Hut. Buy this official Oakley's Car Wash t-shirt or have your legs broken. It's your call.
SG: Ben's Suns Blog. The Phoenix Suns need to stop thinking so much. You know, like Tom Cruise.
PG: Sixers 4 Guidos. Two Sixers blogs have started a petition to retire Moses Malone's No. 2 jersey.
6th: The Hoop Doctors. If you like checking out NBA mock drafts, this is the place for you, my friend.
7th: Hoops Head North. "In all of Atlanta sports, I am the best athlete, embrace me!" Funny clip.
8th: Dave D, Newark Star-Ledger. Update on Devin Harris: Bruised ribs, nothing worse, day-to-day.
9th: 3SoB. Hey, Adriana. Why don't you come to the Grizzlies games now that your Marco is playing?
10th: Sports Media Watch. "The Lakers' win over the Cavaliers on Monday, featuring Kobe Bryant against LeBron James, drew a 2.3 U.S. rating and 3.7 million viewers on TNT. The 3.7 million viewers is the most for a regular season NBA game on cable since 2004."

Al Jefferson is definitely an all-star

Chip Crain really outdid himself there! I'm the lone Grizz fan living in CT and I've got sixth row seats for the Knicks game tomorrow night. When they come to town, it's not a TV thing for me.. if she doesn't make it to NYC, there's no hope for Tennessee.

Why? Because for far too long, the alley-oop has been an underutilized offensive weapon.
Why? Because it requires a Guard to pass the ball. The only place that Guards have passed the ball in the last 20 years is Utah (Univ. under Majers - Jazz under Sloan), Phoenix (Long greasy haired stud), and Playstation. Getting from the gamezone to the court means having to "pass" through two of the most ornery sonsa [profane]es in the game.
Won't happen - Kobe, Iverson, James ball-itis, is all the press cares about. Andre Miller, Jason Kidd, D.Will and Sir Nashalot get dissed constantly
