Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: al4roy.com. The Hawks have launched a new website to pimp their Rookie of the Year candidate Al Horford.
PF: Sactown Royalty. Mikki Moore's 'NBA: Where Amazing Happens' commercial needs more snakes.
SF: Empty The Bench. The fate of the Warriors' playoffs hopes will be decided by Stephen Jackson.
SG: Need4Sheed. Rodney Stuckey breaks ankles and chews bubble gum. (And he's all out of gum.)
PG: The On Deck Circle. The sad, sad downfall of Lil' Penny.
6th: YouTube, via DBB. A trio of brilliant old-school Isiah Thomas commercials.
7th: Le Basketbawl. 50 -- err, 49 -- reasons why being an NBA blogger is awesome.
8th: Basketbawful. Bucks guard Mo Williams has a sore man region.
9th: Busted Coverage. The seven facial expressions of Seattle SuperSonics dancers. (Why? No idea.)
10th: Straight Bangin'. Joey: "Ever since the franchise got "serious" and decided to run things Avery Johnson's way, the Mavericks have eroded to the point of ordinary."

common.. Durant for rookie of the year PERIOD.. Horford is good but hes doesent deserve to be rookie of the year... and Hawks fans should stop speding money just to promote him.. he still gonna finish second in the race... cuz Durant is the man

Durant, ROY? Previous comment said it: COMMON = Not outstanding. Horford is consistent and came in with immediate impact to toughen the Hawks. Who's on the team that is making the playoffs? ..I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. Durant scores, whoopee. Giving him a ROY award would basically be a pity party. So let's not give the leader of the worst team in the western conference a prize for not making the playoffs.. and I'm from Seattle.

Al Horford? Are you kidding me?
I don't even think I've seen one highlight of him all year.
The fact that the Sonics aren't in the playoffs may have something to do with a certain soulsucking owner surrounding his one true star with the likes of Watson, Petro, Wilkins, Wilcox, and whoever else was around and had an expiring contract.
Give it up, Durant is a well-deserved lock.

Hmmm, I don't know Al Hortford.
Horford I've heard of. He's the decent rookie out of the 2nd tier conference. correct?

Al Horford is the man..Averages a double double..I have him and Durant on my fantasy team Durant is not as consistent. Easy pick for rookie of the year unless Durant gets the Lebron type hype because he didn't deserve it either Carmelo averaged better numbers and got his team into the playoffs..
