Monday to Friday, The Basketball Jones look at the big games and story lines from the night before with a mix of in-depth analysis and irreverent humor. As always, questions and comments are appreciated.
On today's show, Skeets and Tas discuss the early surprises of the NBA season. Which teams are gelling sooner than expected? Which players took a step backwards? Who is rolling with swagger? All that, plus shocking NBA costumes, the riddle of the sphinx and F-bombs galore.
A Bloody Mary for your Halloween hangover.

That being said however..as a die hard LAker fan who believes Kobe Bryant is the greatest "skilled/fundamental" player ever..I'd say Dwight Howard is the MVP right now..

Why is it that neither you nor Kelly made a top 10 list of the most important play of the night::: OPENING TIP?
Who's the highest jumper to take the middle ring? What kind of stats are there that show the % of jumps won by a certain player? Which team is guaranteed to lose opening tip every single night? Who is the smallest player to win a jump ball possession over a big man?
