As most of you know, I co-host a daily NBA podcast at The Basketball Jones. This season, for reasons unknown, Tas, JD and I have decided to try our luck with video. I figured I might as well share it here with you. As always, questions, comments and feedback are appreciated. Hit us up.

i did enjoy this one. I'm from Jersey so I love Vince, altho i was a big fan even when he was a raptor. I know his departure was not kind to u guys but jesus let it go already. I think the good times you guys had with the guy should outweigh the bad. You can hate on him all you want but the Raptors failed to resign every relevant player there was to sign to help Vince out. You should blame the franchise for losing Vince, not the other way around.

Skeets are u in love with Vince Carter. Damn u love to diss him. Get a life already. Vince Carter is a top ten player that u fools let go to grow mediocre Chris Bosh. Raptors were let off the hook with VC's comments prior to the trade. But the truth is it is the raptors fault for VC's departure.

Nice touch rocking the Shox, Tas. Best show of the young season. Crappy new book off bet, though. The bet should be that the loser has to do the payoff show while taking a shot of whiskey to start each segment. So like, the opener, and after every break. Or just take a shot during each break if you don't want to show the drinking going on.

This show is awesome. The hosts are well informed, passionate, and seem like really chill people. I like that the show actually feels like a "show" more so than a news broadcast. They put a lot of effort and the production value is pretty good. Too many idiots in this world that are too blind to see something great in front of them.

J.E., please explain to me this VC hatred in Toronto. I've seen it for years, but I don't get it at all. Vince is actually a good guy, whereas Alonzo Mourning refused to play for you guys and you had to buy him out, where is the hatred there? Also, Vince didn't single-handed take you to a championship, and didn't perform based on your expectations, so you hate him, but Kobe publicly quit on his team whenever he wanted to, including in the Shaq years whenever he was pissed at Shaq, or in 06 when he thought the Lakers sucked, on top of what he did in Eagle Colorado, but everyone loves him. What gives here? I feel like with Kobe, KG, and many of the other NBA players that are actually bad people, while he may not have the killer instinct, is that a reason to hate on him? If so, that's fine, but then there should be a lot more hate, for a lot of NBA players.

lebron will not be coming to new york. he will stay with cleveland as they will break the bank to keep him and then what? his contract is actually up in 2011 but he can opt out in 2010, just like stoudemire, wade, bosh and josh and a few other superstar players. their prospective teams will do all they can to keep them and then what? ny will remain in perpetual mediocrity.
