Ball Don't Lie - NBA

As most of you know, I co-host a daily NBA podcast at The Basketball Jones. This season, for reasons unknown, Tas, JD and I have decided to try our luck with video. I figured I might as well share it here with you. As always, your questions, comments and feedback are appreciated. Hit us up.

On today's show, Tas and I look at the game of the night — Celtics and Raptors. Where was Chris Bosh down the stretch? Did the C's pressure D throw Toronto off its game? Did that wild home court crowd sway the officials? We also discuss the Lakers early pursuit of history, Gerald Wallace trade rumors, and an NBA rap for our NBA 2K9 giveaway

And oh! Buy the Free Darko book. Trust me.

Reason 1 trillion why cable gets it wrong:
Raptor appearances on US national TV in 2001-02: 83 games.
    This year? Once.

I'm enjoying watching these everyday. And Tas gets points for rocking the Jordan Elevens.

Skeets, I've felt that they should have fired Mitchell a couple of years ago but the team had the personel(players) to get them into the playoffs when the atlantic conference was truely laughable. Yes he probably could have done more to get Bosh the ball, but what truely irritated me was the fact that he left Jason Kapono to get destroyed by PP. For an ENTIRE quarter! It was clear that PP was doing anything he wanted for much of the second half as he realized a white dude that can't play defense was on his back. I think a 10 year old would have realized they need to make a change in defense, and Mitchell just stood there, frowning like a biach and yelling at his players instead of making necessary changes as the coach. If the Raptors want to go far, they need to change coaches THIS season.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how annoying it must have been to listen to Tommy bash on every player on the Raptors roster. When Garnett started taunting they were saying Calderon was probably speaking in Spanish. They had a trivia question about which current Raptors player was a former globe trotter and Tommy didn't hesitate to say Anthony Parker. How ignorant is this guy? It's disgusting to listen to

I really enjoyed it. Especially the introduction, dialogue is kind of getting more serious as it gets.

Wait, do you delete my comments? What didi I do? I just clapped for a nice pun and asked how I should BUY the FREE Darko book and trust Skeets for the advice. What's wrong? The joke is that I even know Free Darko is a site name. Damn. I feel so mistreated.
