Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Shaquille O'Neal was all over the place during Sunday's big win over los Spurs de San Ant. Literally. Midway through the third, The Big Nimble chased down a long rebound out of bounds and to avoid two young lads in the front row, jumped right over them. Incredibly, he didn't kill anyone.

I wonder what images flashed before those kids' eyes with Shaq headed straight at them? I'd guess their Pokémon or G.I. Joe collections, but I really have no idea what kids are into nowadays. Are pogs still cool?

I agree with Jay. He is getting better. I thought this was a good trade as opposed to the Kidd trade. But the funny thing about it is that Shaq threw it back to the Spurs for a fastbreak. Other than that, Shaq is showing promise.

That was done deliberately. There was no reason for that. These athletes act like savages on the court. This is not sports: this is barbarism.

Like the hustle, but they'll need a consistent defensive effort every game. Skinner & Strawberry need to be involved. Look, Amare gets 16 and they win by 7! That means Amare scoring points is not as important as the team dedicated to defense in each game. Does D'Antonee get that? I doubt it. This is not the Italian league, Mike. When the playoffs arrive only the tough and ruff will survive. Shaq is now the leader of that mindset. I even saw Nash play a little D! If they are spending 21 Million on an aging superstar, then how about 8 or 10 Million on a coach who will put Defense as the #1 objective of the team. Everyone knows the points will come naturally off great defensive effort for 48 minutes. After all is'nt the object of the game to keep your opponent from scoring more than you?

If D'Antonee looses to any more sub .500 teams like the Grizzles and/or plays all our Starters 35-45 minutes a game, then Steve Kerr needs to take the Suns to the title or get someone who knows how to inspire everyone of their players to play consistent defense night in and night out! I'm tired of the same old bulls**t excuses from this coach! They need to play each game as if its the last game they'll ever play.

I think it was stupid of him to jump into the stands like that. He seems to do that on purpose throughout his career if you watch how he does it. I think he knows it will get attention from the fans so he does it, but he could end up really hurting someone. Half of the time he loafs anyways so why jump in the stands.

though that they should move the fans away from the court more.
The NBA could get into trouble someday for this.
