Ball Don't Lie - NBA

On Wednesday, Redeem Teamers Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony, along with more than 100 other U.S. Olympians, will tape the season premiere of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Harpo Productions, via Lakers Blog, says Winfrey intends the show as a "welcome home celebration" and a chance to showcase Chicago as the city bids for the 2016 Summer Games. Other athletes expected to attend include "new Miami Heat center" Michael Phelps, gymnast Nastia Lukin, beach volleyball duo Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh, and Jason Kidd hiding in the bushes. The premiere airs September 8th.

Phelps was photographed with a Shaq jersey, so I think it is just a reference to his photo op, not Miami's desperate need for a decent center. They did sign Magloire though, so anything is possible. If they think he can help, Phelps would probably be useful too...

yeah, the Heat is very desperate to have a legit center who can DIVE a loose ball, go back to defense BACK-STROKING (back pedalling actually, lol) and fly like a BUTTERFLY!!! These features they can get from my idol MICHAEL PHELPS!!!

Trina, "Jason kidd got the USA Team the gold medal"?! Did you watch any of the games, sweetie? I was at all 10 FIBA America games in 2007, and watched every game of the Olymipics including exibition. I can assure you that (as much as I love J Kidd) he was not responsible for the gold medal coming back to it's rightful owners. It was Kobe's influence on his teammates that made the difference.

I also heard that the Heat signed 4ft. female gymnst Shawn Johnson as power forward to help Phelps control the paint, she gets air probably can run a back door alley-oop to her instead of the the other Shawn.. Marion that is.

"Miami Heat center Michael Phelps" LMAO...He'll probably do a combination of a diving 360 degree flipping reverse backstroke dunk...and not even Shaq can't see him doing that while Phelps is wearing his shining 8 golds on his neck. Result: Phelps 8 / Shaq: 0!!!
PS: I betcha Shaq can't even hack-a-shaq Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh...GO GIRLS!!!!
