Ron Artest calls out TNT via video blog and bed

In his latest HipHopGame video blog, Rockets forward and QB's finest Ron Artest (notes) airs out his mini-beef with Chris Webber (notes) (and to some extent Barkley) for making fun of the way he talks on an episode of TNT's "Inside The NBA."

Regardless of what you think about the guy, there is one thing that is for certain — it don't get any "realer" than Ron-Ron firing up the ol' MacBook and speaking the truth from the comfort of his own bed.

I can kind of understand why he's talking about what he's talking about, but at some point someone from the rockets organization or his agent, maybe, needs to tell him he makes himself look like he's nuts. plain and simple.

After the Laker series, I'm a full-blown Ron Artest fan... Tough, defensive-minded basketball players are always fun to watch... And he makes a point in this video... Not only was Webber's impersonation of Artest inacurate, but somewhat degrading to a very large community of people... If you're from New York, particularly Queens Bridge, it's likely you know or are friends with somebody who was or is in jail... Thats no indication of your character...
With that said, it's really not a big deal... Chuck was laughing at the criticism and Ron didn't seem to be bothered by Barkleys comments... He just wanted to make a point that Chris Webber was wrong... point made

artest reacted to sensitive to what weber said. im sure weber has the utmost respect for artest. thats what they do on inside the nba. they joke and have fun. but i do agree with him. barkley didnt play defense. lol

Ron Artest is more eloquent than 90% of the guys in the NBA. He's 2 times smarter than kobe, Kobe talks like he has a mouthful of c*ck or something. The best word in his vocabulary is "execute". What a moron.
Ron Artest keep on giving your opinion, you're a better person than Kobe will ever be.

Lakers suck and they proved that against the Rockets. Do you think they would have even gone to a game 7 if Kobe and Gasol were out and Yao and McGrady were in? I dont think so, Rockets are the deepest and most well rounded team in the NBA.

I have never been a big fan of Ron Artest, but he make a valid point by no means are NBA players the cream of the crop many inner city ball players get caught up in the system chasing fast money. Ron I as a Laker fan have a new found respect and admiration. I appreciate your words keep your head up.
