This has nothing to do with basketball. This has everything to do with basketball.


Los Angeles Lakers rookie Sun Yue has been oddly compared to Magic Johnson, but Jannis Carr at the Orange County Register thinks The Monkey King is much more similar to Spurs guard Tony Parker. Her simple explanation: "Both possess speed and agility on the court." And sexy, significant others.

But that comparison is much too kind to T-Pizzle's Eva. I mean, isn't it obvious? Sun, and his lovely Chinese girlfriend, Gu Chen, are the new Marko Jaric and Adriana Lima of the coveted NBA bench/supermodel "scene." I, for one, look forward to seeing if Gu can wrestle away the Bedlam crown from young Lima.

    Tony Parker and Sun are foreigners taking away American jobs and income. As a patriot
    I offer to take over either financial contract and play at one-half the current fee. Of course as an eminently fair and compassionate human being, I will accept the obligation to be married to or continue dating current social obligations.
    The only drawback to my proposal is that under the Americans with Disabilities Act, all games will have to be played half-court.
