Let's consider the jersey T-shirt.  On one hand, it's a shirt designed to look like a jersey, only tackier. 

On the other hand, it isn't actually a jersey, which is a slight improvement.  On the third hand (mutant division), it's still basically a jersey, which es no bueno. 

However, there is one thing that can somewhat legitimize the jersey shirt in these piercing blue eyes: Chevy Chase. 

Or more precisely: Fletch.  Hence, the Fletch jersey shirt.  

I have one significant quibble with this jersey shirt, which will be apparently obvious to any Fletch fans.  The shirt says "Fletcher" on the back.  And though I haven't seen the movie in years (and have to wait until tomorrow for my Netflixed copy to arrive), I certainly don't remember Irwin Fletcher's entire surname being on his jersey. 

Just to fulfill my journalistic duties, I have confirmed that there are precisely zero Fletchers to ever play in the NBA, and the Internet agrees with me -- it's Fletch.  Nonetheless, if you must own a jersey shirt, make it this one.
