Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Trey Kerby of The Blowtorch searches high and low across the Internets for NBA-related goods you never knew you needed. You know, phenomenal swag. E-mail Ball Don't Lie any relevant products you find here.

One time Phenomenal Swag honoree Joel Kimmel is back with his latest pages of awesome: LeBron James vs. the New York Knicks. I'm going to go out on a limb and say advantage: LeBron.

You can see the whole comic at that previous link, which is the same as this one. Or you can be totally excellent and actually buy the comic because you support independent art and are a generally cool person who listens to The Dirty Projectors and likes Wes Anderson.

And since Joel really gets Web 2.0, he's letting you pay what you want (plus shipping, of course) to own the six-page book. It's got a full color cover, black and white on the inside, and Joel's autograph. It's a good investment, since Joel's going to be famous someday.

Check it out.

I know that everyone is talking about Lebron James and I am with them. I have been watching basketball since the Oscar Robertson, Jerry West days. It seems that I have not encountered such a player. the complete package.
    I call him the Element:
He is always on fire on the court
His shots just drain like water
He has that wind effect when he takes it to the hole
Through all this he symbolizes the earth. He is a young man that could be a prima down but he is impressive with the way he carries himself to the millions that do idolize him. That's all, go NBA

Lebron loves to rack up stats even during all these playoff blowouts the cleveland crabs are getting. Way to pad those stats with that crab dribble Lebronze!

Darren R, now you're just overrating Lebron James, cause had Michael Jordan played with today's NBA rules, MJ would average 60 ppg, 10 rpg, 11 apg, 3 bpg, 3 spg.
But then if Yao Ming played in the days of Wilt Chamberlain, Yao would average 101 ppg, 40 rpg, 20 apg, 20 bpg, and 10 spg...

Hmm, might be the first time I've seen "Web 2.0" used outside of new media theory classes. Nice.

Sorry, New York. Cavs win title this year and LeBron stays in Cleveland. Book it.

this book illustrates how sad it muxt be to be a knicks fan if all you can do is hope & dream Lebron leaves & comes to your team... I suggest New York hand out smelling salts
