Perk and Rondo need a sidekick nickname

Comcast SportsNet's Celtics Blog is trying to find a collective nickname for the C's "other two starters" — Kendrick Perkins and Rajon Rondo.

All good heroes need a sidekick and Perk and Rondo have proved themselves more than worthy. They've become the Robin to the Big Three's Batman. They’re the Bake to their Shake or, if you prefer, the Magic Men to their El Diablo. They deserve a nickname that expresses this.
Ideally, I think the name should be collective, one that describes them as one unified entity. For instance, Slash and Scowl is pretty good, but it doesn't flow with the Big Three. [...] It should be "The Big Three and ... Boom!" Think about some classic WWF tag team like the Hart Foundation, Strike Force, Demolition or the Natural Disasters. That's what we're looking for.

Rich Levine at CB suggests "Superbad," as in "The Big Three and Superbad." His reasoning is that "they're both bad ass mothers on the court" and they're kind of like the characters in the movie — "just two young guys running around, learning the ropes and kicking ass."

Not bad, not bad. But I think the BDL nation can do better. So what do you think? Let's hear your Perk and Rondo sidekick nickname suggestions in the comments below. I'll talk to Sheed.

I like The Road Warriors nicknames Hawk and Animal. Rondo is Hawk with his quick speed and ability to snatch the ball from opponents grasp. Perk is Animal, a tenacious rebounder and tough defender.

The Big Three and the Twins (from the movie "Twins" starring Perk as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rondo as Danny DeVito). Slight unintentional dis to Rondo, but it seems as if he's not well respected among players / former players anyways.

How bout the Big Three and Lucky S.O.B.'s. I mean come on...how hard is it to get points when you're on a team with offensive weapons like Paul Pierce, Ray Ray, and KG. These two players are the luckiest players in the NBA.

I like Slash and Scowl even if they don't roll off the tongue. Perk's scowl made Jermaine O'Neal pee his pants a little.

How about The Big 3, and The Two Guys Who Are Completely Interchangable With Any Other Role Players In The NBA And Are Super Overrated Right Now So Everyone Hype Them Now Before They Come Back To Earth.
Seriously... ANYONE could put up numbers with The Big Three on the court.

How about The Bookends? That's essentially their role. Without books, bookends are essentially statuettes and I think it's hard to argue that Perk wasn't more of a statuette before KG and Ray showed up.
You know, or the Steiner Brothers... Whatever.

I like the hate on Rondo and Perk. Rondo has been outplaying very good point guards (Deron Williams) and Perk has shut down great centers (Yao and Howard). Try to watch them play. They're actually quite good.
