Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Nate Robinson, an avid video gamer, recently played someone online who didn't believe it really was the diminutive guard when he identified himself. (Shocking, I know.) So to prove it indeed was lil' Nate Rob blowing up those virtual tanks himself, he got creative.

Alan Hahn of Newsday.com reports:

Not long after stepping up to the free throw line in the second quarter, Robinson saluted some of his mates that he plays in "Call of Duty, Word at War" on XBox 360 Live. It was his way of proving that it was indeed him playing online. [...]

"Right back to that again for my guys, man, so they know it's me," Robinson said. "When I'm playing online, I'll be kicking that butt. They'll be like, 'You're not Nate Robinson.' I'm like, 'Watch my game tomorrow and my salute'. I salute to my dudes, man. It's all fun and games."

Wow, nice. I've been waiting almost 10 years now for Jason Kidd to prove that he was, in fact, the stranger in dark shades and a trench coat who showed up at my house to play GoldenEye 007 one summer afternoon. Sadly, still nothing. Unless those air kisses are for me, of course. I did offer the guy a Coke and Ketchup chips.

digg delicious

I didn't know they had COD:WAW on the original Xbox? Looks like the contributor isn't a gamer. Probably thinks the Wii plays Blue Ray or that the Playstation 3 is still relevant.

Ruckus, no need to take it out on Skeets because "The Crafty Dunkers" are in second to last place. Go suck on a lemon.
Think nasty Nate gets mad blunted and just does his thing with this game? Now that's really hood.

PS3 was launched at a bad economic time? It came out in 2006, 2 full years ago (and then some), the same year as the wii and one year after the 360.
