NBA Style Watch: Michael Beasley's braid festival

Wow, Michael Beasley. Just ... WOW. I don't even know what to call this look. It's almost like Supercool Beas went to the salon and said, "Hey, can you look at a picture of every NBA player who has ever had their hair braided and somehow combine that on my head?" And then, his hair braider was like, "Yep!" What followed was four hours of braiding that resulted in something from a Bone Thugs-n-Harmony promotional photo.

All that being said, I kind of think this isn't a bad look. Well, I mean, it's obviously a bad look. When the best comparison is "very Shammond Williams-ish," you know something is wrong. But the thing is that this is totally Michael Beasley hair. There's no one else in the league who would choose to look like this. Even Gerald Wallace's braids make more sense.

Keeping in mind that Beasley's hair is a one-of-a-kind look, he gets a couple bonus points. But the fact remains that his braids look like they have their own braids. No matter how unique his hairstyle is, it's still totally crazy. So like I said, very Michael Beasley.
