This is nothing new, but The Sports Hernia grabbed an excellent screengrab of Nuggets guard J.R. Smith's(notes) "Transformers" neck tattoo during last night's Denver-Cleveland game. Behold:
J.R. actually has two "Transformers" tats on his neck — an Autobot and the Decepticon one above.
His reason is straightforward: "I was a fan when I was growing up," Smith explained to The Denver Post back in January. "I got the tattoos about a month-and-a-half ago. I like the second 'Transformers' movie better. I like how they brought some of the old characters back."
Hold on. You liked "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" more than the first? What? "T2" was like watching paint dry. C'mon, J.R., next thing you're going to tell me is that you preferred the ol' Jesse Barfield-Steve Sax Yankees to the late 90s World Series dynasty, and that you're thinking of getting a ta— oh, never mind.
