LeBron James and Gisele Bundchen on the cover of 'Vogue'

I linked to this rumor in last Friday's 10-man rotation, but here's a photo of the upcoming Vogue issue featuring LeBron James and fashion supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The two appear on the cover of the April issue of the popular fashion magazine.

Wearing a tank top, shorts and sneakers from his own Nike clothing line, James appears on the cover dribbling a basketball and screaming as if in game mode while throwing one arm around supermodel Gisele Bundchen - with Tom Brady nowhere to be found.

Hm. Gisele's boyfriend was nowhere to be found, eh? I wonder if Brady was cut from the shoot after his New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl. Can anybody tell if LeBron is actually Photoshopped on the cover? That left hand placed around her waist looks suspicious!

Regardless, LeBron is now just the third man to grace the cover of Vogue in the magazine's 116-year history. The other two: Damon Jones (on a horse) and Paul Mokeski. True story.

    Somebody needs to get their facts straight! Not the third man at all, The first man appeared on the cover in July of 1970, Helmut Berger, Also, Bono in Dec 1992, Elton John in Dec 2002, there was a man on the cover in Jan 1974, One in Oct 2002, plus Richard Gere, George Clooney, and numerous others.

    It's the cover of a fashion magazine. Of course it's photoshopped. That's what they create photoshop for.

    I guess no one bothers to read the original article, including the OP, JE Skeets. It says right in the article, "The pairing of the All-Star forward and the runway icon was shot in January by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio." I mean for gods sake, Gisele even mentions how lebron's shoes is as big as her leg...... The only photoshopping done was to touch up the picture....

    Lebron should not be given anymore publicity....he proclaims himself the chosen 1 with a tat on his back and too many photos in kings outfits... he has not done anything besides raise above the rim.

    CNN showed a video of the shoot. He is not photoshopped onto the cover, though of course overall beauty retouching has been done to the both of them. The way his hand is placed looks a little awkward but she was dancing around him and he was also in constant motion during the shoot. Not everything is done in photoshop.

    Why do people think they can just say anything they want? If you dont know what your talking about keep your mouth shut. If you really want to have a say in something you dont know about then do your homework first! FACTS: Lebron IS just the third man to grace the cover of Vogue(USA). The other two are George Clooney and Richared Gere. Confusion might lie in that completely different versions of Vogue are run in foreign contries. Also there is a magazine called Men's Vogue. FACTS: Lebron and Gisele were in the same room for the photos. OMG...They were even actually touching eachother! Sorry do disprove your little photoshop conspiracy...where do you people come up with this stuff??? I'm not sure why anyone would think two professionals couldn't handle a photo shoot? For those needing it however simply goto Vogues homepage and there is a short video on the making of the shoot and you will see plenty of touchy touchy between KING JAMES and Gisele. As far as Tom Brady being cut out of Gisels picture...I always thought that he swings the other way anyways...Now thats a worthwhile rumor!

    You guys are so in love with LBJ, a magazine cover becomes news to you. Sad. This is a sports website, remember? Not a fashion website. Hey, maybe you can use this as another argument for giving LeBron the MVP...."and he was on the cover of Vogue, Kobe wasn't."
