Kobe Bryant is still poppin' his jersey

If you missed the first stop of the Kobe Bryant Poppin' tour, don't worry. "Kobe and the Lakers" had another gig in Salt Lake City last night, and our good friends at Odenized snuck a camera in to film the show.

Oof, there was a lot of hate in those pops. Kobe definitely remembered the Jazz fans booing Derek Fisher back in November.

Kobe very rarely shows that much emotion. As I was watching the game, I wondered why he was so fired up. When he talked about the crowd and how they booed Fish, it all made sense. Message to fans: PLEASE do not give Kobe any extra incentive to kill you! Kobe is the King. Respect the king!

There was an article in the Salt Lake City paper before the game that said DFish lied to the Jazz about his daughter's illness in order to get a buyout last year, and that's why the Jazz fans booed DFish in the November game introductions and every time he touched the ball. All of the Lakers took it personally. They played better defense last night than any game since Bynum went down.

The Lakers played well last night it was good to see them in a good flow. I just hate it when they get a big lead and just let it go away towards the end of the 3rd period...it never fails. Sure they held both the Gay vericks and the Spazz and won both games, but it sure irritates me when they just let them back in so easily. I would like them to beat the S_it out of every team they play especially all of the GAY teams in Texas.

*the celtics didn't play the lakers in 1986...but that celts team was amazing.
*angry kobe is even better than the regular i smell blood kobe.
*at least that jersey pop wasn't as bad as pau's. when pau pops his jersey, he looks like he's trying to stretch it out 'cause it doesn't fit right.

this reminds me of the game in the playoffs where the suns boo'd him and he put his hand to his ear, kobe thrives on hatred.
but, honestly, im shocked by the Utah fans. theyre just as bad as Philly and Detroit. you boo one of the most classiest sports players all time? for christ's sake, his daughter has freakin cancer. Fisher wouldnt lie about that. c'mon now.
then to top it all off, they throw a beer on the court? and i thought mormons didnt drink beer. eitherway, it's pathetic.

Actually, the Celtics crushed us twice in the 1986-87 regular season, and would have crushed us in the Finals (thank God the Rockets beat us in the WCF). I think the 84-85 Lakers, 85-86 Celtics, and the 86-87 Lakers are the three best teams ever, with the 66-67 76ers, 71-72 Lakers, 82-83 76ers, 95-96 Bulls, and 00-01 postseason Lakers at the next level.

easy prediction - there will be no kobe in the NBA championship game. peaked too soon, not enough playoff talent/experience to help and who can truely say the old kobe (can you say selfish idiot) won't resurface the minute the lakes get a point behind in the first game of the first round

I respect franchises with rich histories such as the Celtics, Lakers, and Knicks, but when fans talk smack about how great the Celtics are and especially during the 80's I have to respond. During and beyond the Magic Johnson era, the Lakers have won 8 championship (5 during Magic's days and 3 during the Shaq era) rings while the Celtics have won how many? Can we count to 3? So what if the Celtics were dominate during the 1986 season. 1986 is long gone and their great season then doesn't mean a single darn thing. This is a new era for both teams and both teams need to get through some pretty stiff competition before getting to finals. The Pistons and Spurs have played together for years, so they can't be dismissed. So the Celtics are possible contenders after 20 years...who cares? All I know is that the Celtics sucked while the Lakers won 5 more championships after the Celtics won their last championship. All I know is that fans need to Fear Kobe and the gang.

Laker fan lets not get ahead of ourselves, the west is increadibly tight and we're going to have to focus on every game until the season ends to stay on top. I think it's okay for Utah to boo D Fish...even though he made his decision based on his family needs. No one knows what his wife, mother, grandparents or anyone else felt about the situation and we all have to do what's best for our own familes first, basketball second. Jazz fan know their hoops and they have a great young team. Let's accept the hate, it comes with be a Laker and worry about getting our guys healthy.
    PS Suns suck!!

Also let's remember that the Celtics are playing a last place teams schedule in a very weak eastern conference. Ray Allen is starting to have a hard time staying healthy and they have no answer for LBJ. The only guy on the squad with any real Playoff experience is Garnett and he only got to the WCC once in his career. The Pistons have been to the mountain top and I think that experience will put them over the top.

please get your facts straight people. Fisher let it be known from the get go that his daughter was ill and the 3 best spots for him we LA, NY and one other place because of the treatment required. If you remember during the playoffs he flew in from NY after her first treatment. I'm not a Laker fan but I respect the game and respect a classy guy such as D-Fish

Good point Warren D, surely there will be the Sparkly popping in Laker's locker room, when all is said and done this season. The Big Ticket like always has had to buy a ticket to the NBA Finals, he is jinxed. Never to make it .

I love when Kobe's mad. Everyone is taking the Jazz as the trendy, non-conformist pick in the West, but I am not convinced. There is no way they are going to get through the Lakers in a 7 game series with Bynum at 80% coming off the bench. Kobe won't let it happen. I mean, can anyone REALLY see Kobe's team losing to these guys? Come on now everyone, lets be realistic... GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!! KOBE 08 MVP!!!!
