Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Good news, Wolf Pack: Minnesota forward Kevin Love(notes) is expected to make his season debut tonight (Friday night) against the Hornets in New Orleans.

Love missed the first 18 games of the season with a fractured left hand. As a result, the training staff will have Love don a black, UFC-like glove padded to protect the back of that injured paw. He will come off the bench with how much — or how little — he plays determined by head coach Kurt Rambis.

Said Rambis (to Timberwolves.com): "[Love's] a little bit out of sync, out of rhythm a little bit. Getting used to the banging and the contact, he's been doing a lot of running on the side and that's a certain cardiovascular workout but the wrestling aspect to basketball is always much more fatiguing. So, he's getting used to the body contact and trusting his hand again."

And said Lucas Barton to Fred Savage and a sassy redhead:

Sorry. I couldn't resist.
