You know, the only thing missing from this silly H-E-B/Spurs commercial is an establishing shot of Matt Bonner (notes) taking a large bite out of a bell pepper. Ammirite or ammirite, "Timaican" Duncan?

These Spurs commercials have become commonplace here in San Antonio for quite awhile now. They used to have Brent Barry and Bruce Bowen in them, and they were fantastic. Pop even had one an it was very funny. If you have the time, go on youtube and look at all of them, they're great. Mango tree is my favorite.

Skeets, you should find/post the Rasta Timmeh doing a Late night Carnac, Tony & Eva doing Grease, and Red Rocket doing Sound of Music... they were vids/skits that they did a few years back for the Spurs Foundation Dinner or some dinner... that stuff is funny... some of it may be on YouTube... plus Erin Barry posted posed for a local photog in her undies and the photog has it on her site- smokin'!

WHY do people involve the spurs' record with that of doing commercials? chill out. after FOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS in the last ten years, you're entitled to some fun, plus the season just started. oh, and did I mention FOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS?

The Spurs are fine, and for the " fool" that made a comment about the commercials and getting "stonied" first, learn to spell...and then remember we have FOUR Championships!!!!!!!! They know what they are doing.....what's the big deal over the commercials.....they are funny! Get a life if that is all you have to comment on!
