I'm recommending both TNT contests tonight to make up for not posting a "pay attention to" yesterday. And while I'm well aware that the Madness continues after your local evening news, I figured a few of you might be tired of watching rushed three pointers. (Side note: I had #14 Georgia through to the Sweet Sixteen. So close, so close.)
Boston at Dallas, in spite of the Kidd-Mavs' 0-6 record against winning teams, will be better than any college game tonight. The Celtics are currently playing some of the best defense in the history of the game, and the Mavs are getting dangerously close to wrong side of the number 8. This one should stay close, and I wouldn't be surprised if Dirk gets a crack at buzzer-beater redemption.
Los Angeles at Utah should be just as good, if not better, solely to watch Kobe shoot for tomorrow morning's headlines. Oh, two Cinderella seeds just advanced to the next round? Meh. Kobe just strutted into EnergySolutions Arena, dropped 40 and single-handedly snapped the Jazz's 19-game winning streak. I’m not saying it’ll happen -- Ronnie Brewer hustles on defense -- but you know that's what Kobe's thinking. I love it.
Enjoy the games, guys.

Even with the injuries that have hit the Lakers, they still prove to be a great team, definately championship worthy.

the lakers were mad
They thought they were great
to get past the hate.
But the Celtics were rad
The lakers came
to play a basketball game
The Celtics were ready
Down came confetti
