I understand the humor in this... OKC is gonna be a huge joke with this logo and colors... At least they'll have AC/DC for their soundtrack, the only plus thus far...

sigh, its just saying the owners are idiots.. that they aren't serious about the team, and that they didn't make a 'good faith effort' to keep the team in Seattle.
( and Gary Payton felt something foul alluva sudden after those two had their conversation )

This comic strip is about 6 months too late. Life goes on Seattle. Build a decent arena and you'll get another NBA team.

Wow, I love the hate directed at Oklahoma City.
I'll think of this cartoon and laugh -- from my seats in the Ford Center -- 41 times over this season.

JWil, the hate's not towards OKC, it's towards Clay Bennett and the Thunder ownership who disgraced the team.

I almost Thought they were trying to diss Payton if you look at the name of the Pub, but yea to little to late the owner knew what he was doing I just can't believe the NBA has moved to freaking OKC

people are really mad because okc has a lot to cheer about ever since the hornets left we have been waiting our turn to be on the big stage and now everyone wants to hate because we have our own team and seattle doesn't. well i say stop crying and trying to put us down and tell seattle to build a new arena and maybe this wouldn't have happened

don't make me laugh, this whole thing is not about clay Bennett or the fact that Seattle has been a thorn in the side of the NBA for a long time, or the good people of OKC that he know nothing about. j.e. skeets is a shameless self promoter trying to tap into the disgruntled fans of Seattle. everything i have read of his is more about him with no real insight about basketball.

OKC Thunder? REALLY? I don't this the GS Warrior's mascot is going to like that one. I'm disappointed in the NBA for allowing the change to occur. It's as lame as the Houston Texans.

    OKC Thunder? LOL
What a sad bunch of fans living in a minor league city. Can dish it out and can't take it, typical okies. If you can bash the hell out of hurricane victims in the days after Katrina over a basketball team then you have to be prepared to take some shots when you steal a beloved 40 year old NBA franchise.
OKC fans .......... if you hadn't jumped all over New Orleans and Seattle maybe people wouldn't be giving you such a hard time. Instead you showed your true classless colors, sad.

Teams move. GET OVER IT!!! Beyond everything else, this is a business. Seattle wouldn't support their team, so the team found a city that would. As far as the logo and colors, who cares. Judge this team on their play, not what they wear.

the oklahomo thunder... hmmm chocolate thunder????
never understood why the league wanted to go to OKC or that desolate part of the country (OK, Kansas, Nebraska)
went to Memphis b/c so many HS kids were legends, but couldn't go to college... then put the 1 year rule in place...
    leave it up to attorneys...
