So what? The conpetition is to show creativity, flair and stun the fans with what they are not permitted to do in the game. No doubt DH deserves the win last year. I still think on his other jams he could have put more power, a-la Dom Wilks.
Ideas for this year - 12' would be cool (providing it is delivered with authority and not a skin-of your-teeth-reach). Can you dunk on 10', let alone 12'?? Give respect where it is due.
You want a 360 alleyoop! Get practising for 6 months and you should time it down to a T.
I don't like the gimmicks like a bleedin birthday cake or sweaty socks. Next they will be jumping through hoops of fire (I mean please!).

Arizza (now with Lakers) and Dooling (now with Nets) were the recent explosive jammers & Tracy McGrady did the off the backboard dunks during games.
I credit Coach Ewing with a lot of D-12's development & I feel should be on Dwight's dunk committee rather than Battie or at least rookie Courtney Lee.
