Short and sweet. The Garnett frame was definitely the most interesting...might have had to do with those peanut butter sandwiches....not sure, though. =)

    Kobe Ball Hogging: $20Million/year
Big Three of the Celtics:55 million/Year
Price of Kobe putting on the 2008 championship ring: Katrillion Dollars
Feeling after winning the NBA Chapionship: Priceless
There are a few things the NBA won't sell, for everything else there's the Boston Master Card.

    Boston's win is overrated.
    Think about it.
Put 2 superstars like Garnett and Allen
on any team that already has a superstar like
Pierce and see if they don't have a drastic turnaround
from their previous record. People need to stop saying
this is the greatest single season turnaround. So it's like
adding Dwight Howard and Tracy McGrady to the Lakers.
If the Lakers win the championship after adding these players,
it should be expected, right? So pretty much, Boston bought a
    championship, nothing more.

#7 - are you kidding? First, Garnett was going to go to the Lakers before the Celtics acquired him. Imagine that and their acquirement of Gasol later. Second, the Lakers were the favorite to win because they have Kobe and a group of young players and what was thought to be a better bench. Third, People thought the Celtics wouldn't even make it because they went through so many playoff games. And think about it, did the Bulls "buy" their dynasty when they dominated six years? No. Did the Lakers do the same with Shaq-Kobe? No. You must be a Lakers' fan then, not to give any respect to the Celtics. It was the greatest turnaround because it takes more than just 3 players to win a game (Look at Kobe, Gasol and Odom - the greatest player in the game with a soft cookie who was overrated and pissed everybody off, and an incosistent guy who helped the Lakers lose). Plus, throughout the playoffs, almost one of those 3 stars were either injured, in a slump or in foul trouble. Face it, the Lakers had the opportunity to win but they didn't. They might next year though.

White whale pop up from a Los Angeles harbor and smack Kobe? Definitely something I'd like to see. Also: Vujacic trading his name for a numerical identification and being assimilated by the Borg, Gasol getting his a degree in Spanish, Fish strumming on the old banjo back in Arkansas, etc.

Well, Mikey. I'm not a Boston fan at all so don't put me in that category. I hate all Boston teams but I respect them. It's amazing how you are saying all of this crap and not acknowledging that the Lakers made a quick move to "buy" Gasol to get to the finals because you KNOW Kobe would've gone psycho yet again. There was NO WAY the Lake show would've made it without Gasol. So stop making up excuses for the Lakers' loss. I can bet you the Lakers will get to the finals next year if they can beat the Hornets and Spurs. Besides if the Lakers did win, you'd be rubbing it in even worse.

Yep, Lakers bought Gasol all right. Quite blatantly, in fact. Kwame Brown plus spare change for Gasol? What a steal!
Oh, and didn't the Lakers once have 4 superstars (Payton, Malone, Shaq and Kobe) on their starting lineup? That's 1 more superstar than Boston has! And guess what: THEY LOST. TO BEN WALLACE ET AL.
Admit it: Lakers are doing it wrong. Boston did it right.
