We all agree with Timofey Mozgov's(notes) assertion that it is funny that Shaquille O'Neal(notes) "puts four giant cushions on his seat" on the Boston Celtics bench, Kevin Garnett(notes). But does your legendary intensity and drive to win in all things really have to extend to the most-outlandish-seat-cushion game? I mean, if it's cool by that fan, it's cool by me, I guess. But you have to admit, this is a weird level of competitiveness. And just a touch unseemly.
Best caption wins superior lumbar support. Good luck.
In our last adventure: Lionel Hollins grins and bears it, because he is the coach of the Memphis Grizzlies and I am a runaway comedy freight train.
Winner, Naix: Lionel Hollins smiles devilishly as Craig Sager looks for his missing tie.
Runner-up, Joe B: "Maybe if I hold this smile up long enough management will think I'm optimistic about this team''s chances at making the playoffs."
Second runner-up, Matt: Lionel Hollins smiles fiendishly at the thought of being the star of Create-a-Caption for 3 days running.
NOTE: Quality zing, Matt. C-a-C took an unscheduled hiatus because I had to do my world-famous Pauly Shore impression for a few days. (Obviously, I killed it.) Hoping to get back to normal — or at least, the relative normal you've come to expect of absurd out-of-context images of NBA persons doing things that make me laugh — for at least the next few days.
