Ball Don't Lie - NBA

The Los Angeles Clippers won the NBA Draft lottery Tuesday night in Secaucus, moving up from the third-best odds and giving them the right to pick All-America forward Blake Griffin of Oklahoma. Yes, for the second year in a row, a geeky white guy proved to be the lottery's ultimate good luck charm. There is no doubt in my mind those ping pong balls were lured by the inside fabric of Clips president Andy Roeser's suit.

Eamonn Brennan of The Dagger will have a mini-mock draft for us clueless NCAA folk (see: me) shortly.

I bet that if they didn't get #1, he would have shown either the 2 or 3, depending on what the Clippers got. If they don't get a pick in the top 3, then he wouldn't have bothered showing that awful jacket. :D

The Sacramento Kings are going to need more help than just a draft pick...who will be left for them at the 4 spot, who can really help this team?

look at it this way.....sacramento had a 75% chance of not getting the first pick. the worst team should get the top pick only one out of four years. blake is going to make a difference in clipperland, but what happens to zach? the guys on espn kept showing a roster list with zach coming off the bnech. i don't think so. i smell a draft day trade.

Country Boy Griffin will be totally out of place in LA hope it doesn't go to his head and ends up as a flop.

I hope OKC get Griffin instead of the Clippers getting him. OKC only needs a piece or two to be better.

interesting with all the talent on the clips that they could only win 19 games. now add blake griffin, will he be just another boring michael beasley? decent, but no real impact?

Chris Kaman, Zach Randolph and Marcus Camby.... start packing your bags boys...
for the Clippers this is great cos they can trade those three in return for something delicious to go with Griffin and Baron Davis..... Ben Gordon would be nice, Caron Butler even....
I would laugh IF the Clips traded this once in a lifetime pick.... people are talking about another Karl Malone when it comes to Blake Griffin....
as a non Clips fan I am HELL jealous that they got the Number One ..... dammit!t his year of all years!!! AAAW DAMMIT!!!!!!!

Ive already known that Griffin was lying when he said "I'm excited" last nigt on ESPN interview. Of course he is excited at being in NBA but not much at coming to Clipperland. Well, Griffin boy, don't be pissed, don't be disappointed. We, as Clippers fan, are all excited about you and we will welcome you with open arms!

So, will Brandon Jennings actually fall to #5? That'd be a nice pickup for the Wizards, whom love to waste talent just as bad as the Clippers.
