The Los Angeles Clippers won the NBA Draft lottery Tuesday night in Secaucus, moving up from the third-best odds and giving them the right to pick All-America forward Blake Griffin of Oklahoma. Yes, for the second year in a row, a geeky white guy proved to be the lottery's ultimate good luck charm. There is no doubt in my mind those ping pong balls were lured by the inside fabric of Clips president Andy Roeser's suit.

Eamonn Brennan of The Dagger will have a mini-mock draft for us clueless NCAA folk (see: me) shortly.

for the Clippers this is great cos they can trade those three in return for something delicious to go with Griffin and Baron Davis..... Ben Gordon would be nice, Caron Butler even....
I would laugh IF the Clips traded this once in a lifetime pick.... people are talking about another Karl Malone when it comes to Blake Griffin....
as a non Clips fan I am HELL jealous that they got the Number One ..... dammit!t his year of all years!!! AAAW DAMMIT!!!!!!!
