As Deadspin once said, Charles Barkley is the most bulletproof man in sports. The outspoken analyst can call his producer dirty names on air, joke about Isiah Thomas committing suicide, and get busted for DUIs while trying to score street fellatio ... and still the man keeps his job because he is entertaining as hell.
Chuck is absolutely insane and we — well, most of us love him for it. Which is why we shouldn't be surprised — or even particularly bothered — by his latest attempt at "humor."
In a bizarre moment during Thursday's NBA doubleheader on TNT, Barkley had white makeup put on his face to mock the recent photographs of ex-baseball player Sammy Sosa. Loving every minute of it, Kenny Smith shouted "Say it loud!" before continuing, "I'm black and I'm proud." Barkley then one-upped the racial insensitivity meter, asking Smith, "If I become white, am I allowed to eat chicken and hamhocks?" And then straight-man Ernie Johnson closed with a good ol' clown-for-hire joke.
Too much? I'll let you decide, Roger.

I can't wait to read the comments on this one.
