Cavs, Bulls discuss Wallace deal

The Cavaliers and Bulls are working furiously to make a major deal that would send Ben Wallace to Cleveland, and one source close to the discussions Thursday afternoon said, the trade was "possible, but doesn't look probable."

Several players, including Drew Gooden, are part of the proposed package, but the Cavaliers' limited number of expiring contracts continues to make deals difficult for Cavs GM Danny Ferry.

wallace and duhon for hughes would be unreal. A true point guard and another big man will def. help the Cavs

Why would we want Wallace??????? We need a point guard and somebody who can shoot the 3 ball. If we has a consistent 3 point shooter we would be unstoppable! Nobody spreads the floor like Lebron. If we trade Drew for wallace, Ferry should be fired!

ya pickin up ben wallace was the biggest mistake paxon made as bulls gm. Biggest waste of 60 mill ever!!!!!! dont get me wrong the guy is a freak of an athlete..... but the facts are that the bulls got him strictly to get rebounds and play good post defense....... it seems like he turns it on when he wants. he will go for 3 points a 5 rebounds for a week straight then all of a sudden bust out for 9 pts and 22 boards. sorry ben it didnt work out.... happy trails

The only thing more pathetic than a freaking loser writing "First!" is the same kind of MORON writing it at # 6.
Give it a rest, you stupid, stupid people.
That said, if they can get rid of Hughes and get Duhon, taking on Wallace is not that big a price to pay. Paxson probably gets canned.

cavs are better off doing nothing then making a trade to pick up yet another bad contract. Ferry screwed them early with a bunch of bad deals so just let them expire and don't make it worse

Big ben is absolute garbage. He should have never left the team that made him who he WAS. The Pistons are better without him and he will never flourish again with any other team.

Big Ben is a system player. He's great when there's three or four other system players with him. He had it good in Detroit. All he had to worry about was blocks and rebounds. He was the toast of the town and the face of the Franchise. He's bad with the Bulls and will be worse with the Cavs. How those fans in Chi town treating you Ben? I hope that extra ten million was worth it!
