Ball Don't Lie - NBA

CLEVELANDLeBron James won the 2009 NBA Slam Dunk contest last night, months in advance of the actual competition, dethroning Superman cape-wearing champ Dwight Howard.

James completed seven impressive dunks over the visiting Raptors, including a massive one-handed slam in traffic (:15) and a breakaway Karl Malone-esque stuff (:30) in the third. The judges ate it up.

Toronto's Jermaine O'Neal finished a distant second.

His best dunk is at :18. The announcers completely ignore it, chatting away about some bs.

I'm sorry but these dunks are mad boring. Except the .18seconds dunk. All the others are weaksauce.
For someone who wants to be the next Jordan, he should at the very least work on better dunks.Needs to work on his finesse.

I like the Mailman stuff. It's nice to see that someone as young as LBJ remembers the details about future HOF's like Malone. Lots of people write him off because he never won a Trophy, but that was more about timing than skill. Lots of teams would have done a lot better if Jordan never played.

By the way, too late for LBJ to get in the dunk contest. Only players who have been in the league 3 years or less can compete, league rules.

i guarantee it he wont compete in the Slam Dunk Contest.. and you want to know why? because he would get embarrassed.. he has one dunk in his arsenal and that is just a one handed tomahawk slam.. hes got no tricky dunks and he definitely doesn't have an imagination.. lets check Lebron's shooting percentages past 15 feet and you'll see how much of a super star he really is.. GO CELTICS
