Breaking news: Shaq traded to Raptors?

Breaking answer: no.

Shaquille O'Neal and his wife Shaunie were on hand at the brand new Josten's Center at Disney's Wide World of Sports late last week to watch their son, Shareef, participate in the 3rd Grade D1 National Boys Basketball Championship Tournament. Hilariously, Shaq decided to wear a Toronto Raptors jersey.


One explanation of the mysterious No. 33: it was Alonzo Mourning's hypothetical #33 Raptors jersey. If you recall, 'Zo was traded to Toronto as part of the '04 Vince Carter Fire Sale, but he refused to show up. 'Zo and the Raps reached a buy-out agreement before he ever played a minute with the team, so Shaq's jersey is probably the only one of its kind.

    It's amazing how people will turn on you in proffesional sports. 5-6 years ago we would have had about a million "Shaq Rocks" comments. No wonder some players commit suicide.

    f shaq too! I understand he is a good player or was at least at sometime in his career a great player, but he is lazy. For the past 5-6 years all he has shown us is that he is bum. I'm tired of his "i'm hurt all of the beginning of the season and i'll help out towards the end" attitude. I know he wasnt an all star this past season but the two year before...... f the fans voting for him to go. He is a fat piece of s#$^!

    Shaq is still one of the greatest center in NBA history. He may be old, but he and Tim Duncan are better than half the NBA player today.

    I'm sure they were only together because their son had a championship basketball game. Odds are they weren't spending time together there or even watching the game in the same area of the stands

    NEWSFLASH PEOPLE: Shaq couldn't give two dumps what any of you think of him. And why should he, he may be old and at the end of his career (that will be seen), but he still did A HELL OF ALOT more than any of you. Is it jealousy that has you all so bitter? It's the circle of life, lol. Out with the old, in with the new, he will FOREVER be remembered by millions...how about you?? Who loves you?

    I respect Shaq and admire his game although his free throw shooting is not up to par. He's a beast, Imagine Shaq with the ball down low, whose gonna stop him?
