Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Welcome to tonight's BDL live blog of Game Deux of the Eastern Conference Finals. Your hosts and moderators for this evening are Kelly Dwyer (far left), Matt Moore (center), and me, Jax Elliott. From here on out, game commentary can be read in the super-hi-tech box below. Please comment away — if your sentiment is funny or insightful, we'll try to post it. ("Try," being the key word.) James Posey starts hugging people around 8:30 pm EDT. Holla back young'n's.

If the Pistons end up winning this series and knocking the Celtics out of the playoffs, can Sam Cassell please return to his home planet for good?

How many offensive rebounds are the Celtics gonna give up in the closing minutes!!!!!!!!!!! And don't they know that the ball has to go through KG's hands for anything good to happen! What's with Ray can't make a shot to svae his life Allen taking shots in the closing moments of the game!!!!!! C'mon Doc, the Wolves screwed up the exact same way.

Good game! Predictable outcome. If Ray Allen's carrying you, you lose these days. Celtics will win one in Detoit. Back to even.

Celtics led a lot of important categories tonight including rebounding( O and D ), FT %, but Detroit was absolutely on fire. They are not and never have been known as an offensive team, so I give a lot of credit to C's tonight for a hard fought game. Rondo needs some cahones and shoot the ball when he is open though
