The season starts tonight, on TNT ‘ere in the States, and we're going to live blog the action.
Be sure to tune in early, 7 p.m. Eastern, because the Celtics will raise the franchise's 17th championship banner into the rafters, and a well-meaning group of hard workers and deserving champions will receive their 2007-08 championship rings from David Stern.
An hour later, on local Milwaukee and Chicago outlets or League Pass (but not WGN for non-Chicago viewers, you'll get The Ropers. Seriously), the Bulls and Bucks tip-off in Scott Skiles' return to the building where he won a little more than half of all those games for a couple season, there. Such memories.
And winding things down could be a 2010-2015 Western Conference finals preview, if we're lucky, with Portland visiting Staples Center to take on the Lakers. Ready your comments, mourn the loss of Steven Hill, and pop in for a few hours. Actual NBA basketball that counts. Pinch me. Twice.
