Yesterday, on the 38th floor of the Empire State Building, the one-and-only Kenny Smith sat down with some delightfully disheveled bro for a quick interview about the important things concerning the NBA — the Finals, two dollar bills and Taco Bell. Ladies and gentlemen, that bro was me. Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking either.
Pretty good, eh? Well, Kenny was, most definitely. I think I should have said "sure" another 9,000 times to really drive home that I was agreeing with him.
But really, Kenny makes a lot of good points about basically everything in the NBA. He's right about Ray Allen(notes), who he says needs to shake off his bad Game 3 and move on in order to be successful in tonight's game. He's right about how winning should be the most important thing to this summer's group of free agents. Heck, he's even exactly right about Sam Cassell(notes) playing 11 minutes in Game 1 of the 1995 NBA Finals, because Kenny Smith really knows his stuff, you guys.
Someone should put him on TV.
Cheers to Taylor PR and Christian Matthews for making this happen.
