Kyle Korver feels mostly moved in. The newest member of the Cleveland Cavaliers still has some adjusting to do before he feels completely at home with the NBA champions, who have struggled of late. One of Korver’s biggest adjustments is learning to play with LeBron James, one of the game’s most gifted passers. Korver regretted missing a 3-pointer in Golden State after James nearly fell before feeding him in the corner.
Jordan Woodard hit three massive shots charging towards the basket late in the Sooners’ upset of West Virginia. Through the first two weeks of Big 12 play, there didn’t appear to be too many easier games than a home date with Oklahoma. The Sooners started 0-4 in the league, were under .500 overall, and had lost seven in a row over a 32-day span.
James Harden continued his brilliant 2016-17 campaign on Wednesday night, scoring a game-high 38 points on 14-for-25 shooting to lead his Houston Rockets to a 111-92 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Harden added eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks in his 36 minutes of work, keying the 18-0 second-quarter run that broke the game open and scoring 22 after halftime to keep the Bucks at bay. “Well, today’s her 100th birthday, so it’s a blessing,” Harden told ESPN’s Doris Burke during a postgame interview.
