Drivers to Watch

Kevin Harvick Harvick has only three top-10 finishes in 17 starts at Charlotte. "Besides the All-Star win in 2007, Lowe's Motor Speedway seems to be a track where I just haven't had the finishes I would like," said Harvick. "We have always run pretty well there, but just haven't been able to put everything together."
Carl Edwards The good news for Edwards is he improved two positions in the standings. The bad news is he's 192 points out of the lead. Edwards is winless at LMS and has just one top-five finish in five starts -- fourth in this race last year. "The last three weeks we've been competitive at the intermediate tracks," Edwards said. "We've been working on some things. We're going to apply that to Charlotte."
Kyle Busch Busch has finished sixth or better in the last four races at Lowe's. In May, he led 173 of the 227 laps in the rain-shortened race. "I'm trying to rest as much as I can in order to be ready for Charlotte this weekend," said Busch, who was ill all last week. "I think we have cars capable of winning both races, and I'm hoping I will be feeling well enough to get it done."
