Jimmie Johnson Johnson went from fourth place before the final qualifying race for the Chase for the Sprint Cup into a three-way tie for second place with Brad Keselowski and Tony Stewart as the Chase begins Sunday at Chicago. The trio trails new points leader Denny by three points each and leads the two drivers tied for fifth place, Greg Biffle and Clint Bowyer, by three points each.

Matt Kenseth With the points and standings reseeded after Richmond, Kenseth fell from third to a tie for seventh with Dale Earnhardt Jr. They trail new points leader Denny Hamlin by 9 points and Greg Biffle and Clint Bowyer (tied for fifth) by 3 points and lead a four-way driver tie for ninth place by three points.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt fell from second into a tie for seventh place (with Matt Kenseth) when the points and standings were reseeded after Richmond. The duo trails points leader Denny Hamlin by nine points and Greg Biffle and Clint Bowyer, both tied for fifth, by three points and leads four drivers tied for ninth by three points.

Kasey Kahne Kasey Kahne moved up from 11th place to a four-way tie for ninth once the points and standings were reseeded after Saturday's final Chase qualifying race at Richmond. Kahne and the other three drivers he's tied with are 12 points behind new points leader Denny Hamlin and just three points behind the two-way tie for seventh between Matt Kenseth and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Denny Hamlin Hamlin jumped from seventh place to first when the points and standings were reset after the final qualifying race for the Chase for the Sprint Cup on Saturday night at Richmond. He leads three drivers tied for second by just three points: Tony Stewart, Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson.
Clint Bowyer Bowyer went from eighth to a tie for fifth when the points and standings were reseeded after Saturday night's race at Richmond. He's tied with former points leader Greg Biffle; they're six points behind new points leader Denny Hamlin and three points behind a three-way tie for second (Tony Stewart, Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson). Greg Biffle Biffle, who led the points for 14 of the first 26 weeks, fell to a tie for fifth place with Clint Bowyer when the points and standings were reseeded after Saturday's race at Richmond. Still, Biffle and Bowyer are only six points behind new points leader Denny Hamlin and three points behind a three-way tie for second place (Tony Stewart, Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson), and lead two drivers tied for seventh (Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth) by three points.
Tony Stewart Thanks to reseeding after Richmond, Stewart went from 10th to 2nd heading into the 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup. He is in a three-way tie for second place with Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson, who all trail new points leader Denny Hamlin by three points.
Kurt Busch 25th, 275 points out of 13th place.
Jeff Burton 19th, 127 points out of 13th place. Gained one spot last week.
Kevin Harvick Harvick entered Richmond in ninth place, and he enters the Chase still in ninth -- albeit now in a four-way tie for the position. He and his three fellow drivers trail new points leader Denny Hamlin by 12 and a two-driver tie for seventh place by 3 points.
