This week: Harvick earned his second runner-up finish at Homestead a year ago. He has six top-10 finishes in eight starts there. "I definitely can't wait to get to Homestead," said Harvick. "With the way we've run there in the past, I think it's going to be one of the most exciting races of the year for us."
Last week: After finishing 24th at Phoenix, one of his favorite tracks, Harvick said, "We were off in the beginning of the race, then got it adjusted to where our Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet was pretty good in the middle part. Trouble was, we went a lap down early and those (long) green-flag runs didn't give us a chance to get back on the lead lap."
Etc.: Harvick is glad the season is almost over. "Unfortunately, this year has (dragged) on like you can't believe with how things went for us in the middle of the season," he said. "It's just one of those deals where you want this to end so we can get going for next year." As for his offseason plans, Harvick says he plans to "just wing it."
