NASCAR - Scoop Du Jour

US Fidelis, once considered America's top seller of extended auto service, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Rusty Wallace Racing, which Fidelis sponsored, is apparently wondering if it's ever going to see the half-million bucks it is owed from Fidelis, according to Hampton Roads.

For 25 of the 35 Nationwide races last year, the company was the big sponsor for driver Steven Wallace's car as well as for 10 Nationwide races by driver Brendan Gaughan.

While Rusty Wallace was putting the Fidelis logo on its cars, it apparently wasn't collecting any checks. Fidelis apparently owes Rusty Wallace $535,439.18. And who knows if the team will ever see that dough.
