NASCAR - Sports Rumors

SpeedTV reported over the weekend that New England Patriots wide receiver is on the threshold of starting his own NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team. The team could be turning competitive laps by the end of the season, just in time for football season.

Who will drive the truck? How much of a role will Moss play in the team? Will Bill Belichick become a crew chief? Who knows, but if this comes to fruition, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will become a lot more interesting.

After all, the Truck Series is good and everything. But, really, it needs a big shot in the buttocks to spur publicity. And who better to do that than one of the NFL's biggest publicity machines. Imagine the possibilities.

I dont see him sticking with this even if he does get a team together,Bill is a football guy coaching a football team like the NE Patriots takes all his time and effort. Gibbs did it but if look at the Redskins over the last 10 years they havent been anytthing special.

bill hopefully will be looking for a job then. if the commish finds out that they do have tape of the rams pregame practice bill should be kicked out of the league, hes a great coach, no one will disagree with that, but he cheated plain out. and as a coach he needs to be held to a higher standard.

    Ronald Deschain-
If someone came onto the NFL Board that was a Nascar fan because their was a story about a racer buying into a NFL Team youd treat them excatly the same way if not worse. You get just as many rednecks watching football as you do Nascar, a lot more actually.
