One of NASCAR's top road-racing drivers, Ron Fellows, will pilot the No. 01 Dale Earnhardt Inc. Chevrolet on Sunday at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.
Fellows, who has two career runner-up finishes in Sprint Cup road races, will sub for rookie driver Regan Smith, who is 30th in points.
"Our goal for Regan remains winning the Rookie of the Year title and building momentum that we hope will carry us into 2009," DEI vice president John Story said. "Ron has a successful history with DEI, and he certainly knows his way around Infineon. The opportunity to capitalize on his experience and abilities against some of the other road-course experts is our objective."

As for Robby Gordon. I am tired of hearing about what a great road racer he is at Infineon. With the exception of one win with RCR, he consistantly finishes worse than he starts. Instead of giving him all this raod racing credit, its time the announces start calling him the great Pretender.
