Gossage Will Guest DJ On E Street Radio
You could say that Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage is The Boss when it comes to promoting NASCAR. Heck, even Don King bows to Gossage's promotional talent.
But Gossage is a big fan of the original Boss, Bruce Springsteen. And today he will be a guest DJ on E Street Radio, the Springsteen channel on satelllite radio. (A station that I found very handy while recently driving a rental car all over Illinois and Missouri.)
Gossage, a Springsteen fan for more than three decades, will choose his favorite songs and share some stories related to his appreciation of Springsteen throughout the one-hour show beginning 4 p.m. ET on XM's Channel 58 and Sirius' Channel 10.
After seeing Springsteen on Tuesday here in Charlotte, I'm hoping Gossage picks "Thunder Road" … I'm almost certain a racing promoter will choose "Born To Run" somewhere in the show.
