He has some good runs in the 71 this year, maybe knowing there is a solid commitment for 2010 will help the team's confidence and bring some decent results

Bobby is a good driver stuck with crap equipment like some other teams are... congrats Bobby but you'll be in the back 95% of the time while the bigger teams are up front following each other and Jimmie Johnson wins again... WOWZERS

yates did the right thing in dumping Bobby before the end of this season. they didnt have good enough cars for him and there was no plan in the future for the cars to get any better. by dumping him early he was able to catch on a temp ride that blossomed into a full time ride. TRG might suck, but its much better than Yates. darnell was just a patsy in the whole thing, he'll be parking it every race next year before Yates disappears completely.

Keeping Bobby out of the 96 ride in favor of Darnell is an absolute joke. The 96 has been filling space the last several years. The 96 has not been competative at all. TRG Motorsports has not been competative either. But gaining a driver like Bobby will give them hope for the future. The 71 has a future, the 96 doesn't.

I am a little surprised with the merger of Petty and Yates that Petty did not offer Bobby a ride with him. Bobby stayed true to Petty ever though the future looked dim when Richard actually owned the team.

There isn't a lot of loyality left in NASCAR anymore!

I guarantee he'll finish no better than 25th in points. Labonte is the only reason TRG is more than a s&p. IF Bobby can attract a big sponsor for the whole year, then TRG might have a decent chance. I'm not holding my breath though.

Put a good car under Bobby's butt and watch him GO! He's been in junk cars for the past couple of years, so maybe now he has a fighting chance to get back up where he should be.

bobby has done great with trg. hall of fame did terrible and everyone blamed bobby for it. i feel bad for him. ha can still get the job done well. congrats to bobby. i love you!

Congrats to Bobby, I still laugh at them replacing Bobby with Darnell, that was just insane. Now Bobby has his own ride again, give em hell.
