Greg Biffle re-signs with Roush Fenway
Greg Biffle has agreed to a contract extension with Roush Fenway Racing, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Though terms of the agreement were not available, the deal likely will work in tandem with Biffle’s current sponsor 3M.

“Our deal will be concurrent with Roush and 3M, yes,” Biffle said in February.
The move doesn’t come as a surprise. Prior to the season, Biffle said that he was almost certain he would stay with Roush, that a deal was already in the making and that 3M would stay on as his primary sponsor.
Interestingly, Biffle said he expects many of the current free agents, including himself, Juan Pablo Montoya and Carl Edwards, to take a pay cut.
“A significant amount,” he said. “I think it’ll be a big adjustment for a lot of people. I think it’s gonna be a significant amount just because I think sponsor programs are going down. A lot of us had some pretty rich deals in the heyday. It’s gonna get reset, there’s no doubt.”
Though Biffle is now off the market, there are plenty of big-name drivers whose contracts are up at the end of the season, including Edwards, Montoya, Clint Bowyer, Brian Vickers, Jeff Burton and Mark Martin.
Danica Patrick will also be a free agent. Her contract with JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series and her deal with Andretti Autosport in IndyCar are both up at the end of this season.
