Drivers to Watch

Elliott Sadler Ran 13th at Lowe's Motor Speedway last weekend and climbed one spot to third in the standings, 205 points off the pace; has six top-10 finishes, including a season-high second from the pole in the Food City 500 at Bristol; has just one top-10 in 12 career starts at the "Monster Mile" - a 10th in this event in 2002; he and teammate Dale Jarrett, who won this race in 1998, have combined to give Robert Yates Racing just one checkered flag here; ran 18th and 20th in the two events here last year; was runner-up to Mark Martin in All-Star event two weeks ago.
Greg Biffle Ran sixth in last week's Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte for his third straight top-10 and eighth of the year; maintained career-high second-place ranking and is just 71 points off the pace set by Jimmie Johnson; was 21st in the standings at this point last year and finished 17th; tied with Jeff Gordon for the series lead in victories and has taken four checkered flags in 13 events dating to the 2004 finale; finished 26th in this event last year after running seventh as his only top-10 in five career starts at the "Monster Mile" in his rookie year of 2003.
Jimmie Johnson Overtook Bobby Labonte on the final lap to win last week's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte for a record third straight time; withstood a NASCAR-record 22 cautions, including one that put him and several others a lap down with 46 laps left when he was caught on pit road; increased his circuit lead over Biffle to 71 with his second triumph of the year; the series runner-up the last two years has led the points standings after nine straight races; leads the circuit with nine top-10s and six top-fives this year after posting a series-high 20 top-fives, including eight victories, in 2004; swept both races on this track in 2002 but has not run in the top five here since; finished 32nd in this race last year and 10th in the fall event.
Matched a season high with a fourth-place finish in Charlotte on Sunday, two days after his 36th birthday; climbed three spots to 13th in the standings; was runner-up to Newman in this event in 2003 before running eighth in last year's edition; seeking first checkered flag since Richmond on September 11, when he gained entry into the "Chase" in the season's 26th race; has managed just five top-10s in 22 events since, however.
