From the Marbles - NASCAR

So you probably heard there was an earthquake out California way on Monday. What you probably didn't know is that it's possible it's Yahoo! Sports' fault. Really. Check out the video here of Yahoo! Sports NASCAR editor Jay Hart discussing his predictions for this weekend's Pocono race (click on the image for the video to appear):

You'll note that the earthquake happened not too long after Jay said he didn't expect Kyle Busch to do well. Make of that what you will.

(Credit to Hart for remaining calm -- me, I'd've been running around screaming, dropping profanities in every direction.)

Not only did he remain calm, he seemed to kind of enjoy it.

For some reason he reminds me a lot of Jack Black or some other actor/comedian....
I agree with Fourthplace M, it's almost like he enjoyed part of it.
That's pretty cool (I guess). We've had a few weak earthquakes here in NC before but...
I was always snoozing when it happened.
Thanks for the video, Jay & Jay!

Has anyone seen the ad with a picture of Kyle Busch and m&m's? It's next to one of "From the Marbles"
blog. That looks nothing like him. He's not that good looking! Sorry Kyle fans.

I bet that's the last time he says Kyle Busch will not do good in a race. The next time it might be a lightning strike, tornado or some type of plague of locusts or frogs. Now go clean yourself up and come back when you are not so blasphemous.

The Power of Kyle Busch compels you! Watch as he parts the sea of cars at Talladega!
I too have noticed they've put his mug on those M&M's ads....
Great. Now I have to look at him, not just read his name. Bleh. Looks like he's had a facial too.

    Jet--#7 great comment
Wow....Jet, Camshaft, Kim, does that bring back some 'fond' memories. My stomach is twisting in knots just watching that. The rollers like Hart was in are not to bad until they get in the 6's. The scary ones are the one's that hit like a Nascar hauler has slammed into your house. Jet and I lived blocks apart as kids and survived the '71 Sylmar quake that scared this 8 yr. old so bad I slept in my parents room for two years. Check out our ordeal here if you like:

A Quake will sure shut up a commentater, But maybe that was the BIG MAN'S way of showing his displeasure of some of the remarks being made!

I do have to give Jay credit for not freaking out, I've seen many TV people run for cover from much smaller jolts. He did look like he was contemplating calling his mommy though. That nervous laugh at the end says it all.
